Outer housing is constructed of chemical resistant and resilient polypropylene minimizing damage from spillage with a vented case to create an air flow that allows housing to be safe to the touch when in use. The coiled heating element is suspended within a thermal insulating cartridge to provide maximum heat transfer and support. The flexible heating element minimizes risk of flask breakage. Element temperature ranges from ambient to 450° C. Controlled and Grounded EM * Includes all of the features of the Basic and Grounded EM mantle with the added built-in temperature controller and grounding screen. * Built-in temperature controller regulates temperatures from ambient to 450° C. * An amber " Heater On" light indicates when power is being supplied to the heaters. * A clear " Power On" light indicates when the power is on. * The stainless steel grounding screen provides added protection against shock should spillage or flask breakage occur. * CE approved.
